Celebrate Jólabókaflóð 2019 in Portland with local indie authors and illustrators, giveaways, Nordic food, music, and a book donation drive.

Jólabókaflóð, the “book flood before Christmas,” began during WWII with limits placed on Icelandic imports. Books, therefore, became the customary gift to give and to receive.
