More about Fogelbo and Ross Fogelquist
In Swedish, fogelbo means “bird nest” and is derived from the Fogelquist family name, which means “bird on a branch.”
Fogelbo houses one of the largest private collections of Nordic antiques and folk arts in the United States. Ross Fogelquist, who grew up and lives there, has been a passionate collector all of his adult life. He is a member of the Order of the Polar Star and was knighted by the King of Sweden. Thousands of people have been hosted and charmed by this unique and fascinating estate through the last sixty-four years. Fogelbo and two acres were deeded to Nordic Northwest in 2014 by Sir Ross Fogelquist.
