The Lorax (2012):
Living in a town devoid of nature,12-year-old Ted searches for the one thing that his crush, Audrey, wants, a Truffula tree. To do this, Ted must venture outside of town where he learns the tale of the Lorax and his fight to protect the Truffula trees.
About the Speaker:
Peter Michael Bauer is an anthropologist, experimental archaeologist, historian, life-long community organizer, and founder and Executive Director of Rewild Portland. His work focuses understanding the impacts of the Neolithic revolution on society and the environment, and using this understanding to find solutions to the sixth mass extinction. He has been a major part of the human rewilding movement and wrote the book Rewild or Die.
