Join us in inspiring your little one to make their very own felted gnome friend!

Learn the secrets of felted gnomes! While gnomes are naturally shy, there have been enough sightings in the wild to confirm their key elements: bushy beard, curly hair, thick eyebrows and jaunty hat. In this class you’ll learn all about sculpting wool into gnomes that really come to life.

The ticket fee is per child, adult guardians attend at no additional charge. Adults must stay with children during the workshop. Adults can assist if necessary.

Maximum class size is 20 students.

About your instructor,

LeBrie Rich has been exploring the visual possibilities and emotional resonance of felted wool since 2004. Her work has appeared internationally in a variety of settings, including museums, galleries, storefront windows, and art-vending machines. Venues that have shown her work include the Robert Rauschenberg Foundation Project Space in New York, NY; Portland Art Museum and Blackfish Gallery both in Portland, OR; and Albus Gallery in Fukuoka, Japan. She has been awarded artist residencies at the Rauschenberg Residency (2013/2015), Ucross Foundation (2018), and Kayamori House (2012) in the mountains outside of Nara, Japan.
