The Rebild National Park Society

September 27, 2022

4 PM - 6 PM

Nordia House

Please join us for an informative evening about the Danish American Friendship Organization - The Rebild National Park Society.

Rebild National Park Society is the first Danish-America association and has existed for more than 100 years.  Through their community and voluntary work, they demonstrate the value of freedom, friendship and unity between Denmark and the United States.

Rebild celebrates Danish American friendship each year with a July 4th celebration in the Rebild National Park in Denmark, the largest celebration outside of the US.  An annual celebration also occurs in the United States with a different location each year.  At this year’s 110th anniversary celebration honored guests included Queen Margrethe II, United States Ambassador to Denmark Alan Leventhal, Danish Minister of Defense Morten Bødskov, Danish Business icon Jens Bjerg Sørensen, Danish Actor Caspar Phillipson, and many more.

Bruce Bro, the United States Rebild Vice President will present a slide show about this year’s celebration, and answer your questions about Rebild.

Doors open at 4 p.m.; there we will be a hosted bar serving select wines and beers along with non-alcoholic beverages. Light refreshments will be served.
