Alex Tinker

Alex is a partner at Tonkon Torp LLP, where he maintains a law practice focused on business litigation and dispute resolution. He grew up in Portland along with a robust extended family of Norwegian descent, one of whom introduced him to the organization. Alex is excited to engage in celebrating and sharing Nordic values and exploring how they can help us all address the personal and societal challenges of our time. Prior to his legal career, Alex worked in nonprofit advocacy focused on climate change resilience and as a legislative aide. Alex and his wife are raising two seventh-generation Oregonians whose world travel has included two Nordic countries so far, Iceland and Denmark. They are eyeing Norway next!
