Set amid an unexpected wooded haven in SW Portland, Nordia House embodies all the best in contemporary Nordic design. Natural materials blend with floor-to-ceiling windows to create beautiful, clean lines that reflect and enhance the stunning grounds.

 

Nordia House can accommodate many types of events including but not limited to: corporate training retreats, company parties, birthdays, dinners and more. Nordic Northwest & Broder Söder Catering have a dedicated team to make your event a success. During the summer, the indoor areas may be augmented with three outdoor patios and an adjoining one-acre lawn area for less formal settings, making your options even more exciting. THE GREAT HALL

3000 square foot open floor plan with floor-to-ceiling view of grounds suitable for up to 180 people.

 

Versatile seating arrangements for dining, weddings, lectures, presentations, breakout groups and more.

 

Includes available chairs and tables, A/V system, projector capability, parking for up to 50 cars, access to patio and Nordia House grounds, as well as indoor and outdoor access.

NON-WEDDING EVENT

(Sunday - Thursday) Regular: $350/hr | Nonprofit: $250/hr

(Friday - Saturday) Reglar: $450/hr | Nonprofit: $350/hr

  • Maximum capacity – 175

  • Four hour minimum/Ten hour maximum

  • Includes use of existing In-House tables, chairs and A/V – A/V access requires in-house A/V technician assistance for $100.  Full service A/V service is $250.

  • Use of NNW logo stemless glassware included – limited quantities

  • Includes access to up to 50 parking spaces for events after 4:00 pm otherwise shared parking from 8:00 am – 4:00 pm

WEDDING EVENT

Low Season – October, November, December, January, February, March, April & May 

High Season – June, July, August & September

  • Exclusive access to all public spaces in the building and grounds (Exhibit Hall, Café & Patios & Green Spaces)

  • Bridal Room

  • Maximum capacity – 175

  • 8 hours access for vendor set-up, decorating, ceremony dinner/party and clean up

  • Includes use of existing In-House tables, chairs and A/V – A/V access requires in-house A/V technician assistance for $100.  Full service A/V service is $250.

  • Includes 1 hour for rehearsal on mutually agreed upon prior day/time.

  • Use of NNW logo stemless glassware included – limited quantities

  • Includes access to up to 25 parking spaces for events after 4:00 pm otherwise shared parking from 8:00 am – 4:00 pm

900 square foot hall. Limited availability due to rotating cultural exhibit displays.

  • Maximum capacity up to 30-50 – depending on style of event  (Not always available – due to occasional exhibit restrictions)

  • Suitable for Open House, Cocktail receptions, Meet-and-Greet

  • Four hour minimum/Ten hour maximum

  • Includes use of existing In-House tables & chairs (no A/V)

  • Includes access to up to 25 parking spaces for events after 4:00 pm otherwise shared parking from 8:00 am – 4:00 pm

MLC CONFERENCE ROOM

600 square foot room suitable for conferences and meetings with full A/V capability and projector.

 

Versatile seating arrangements for conferences, lectures, breakout sessions and more.

 

Includes chairs and tables for groups of 10 to 40 people, indoor and outdoor access and 20 feet of buffet counter.

Regular: $150/hr | Nonprofit: $100/hr

  • Maximum capacity – 24 (conference style) or 40 (theater style)

  • Four hour minimum/Ten hour maximum

  • Includes use of existing In-House tables, chairs and A/V – A/V access requires in-house A/V technician assistance for $100.

  • Includes access to up to 25  parking spaces for events after 4:00 pm otherwise shared parking from 8:00 am – 4:00 pm

  • Includes the use of up to 10 folding tables

  • Maximum capacity 75-100 (depending on use and set-up)

NORDIA HOUSE BACKYARD LAWN

Regular: $200/hr | Nonprofit: $150/hr

  • Includes the use of up to 10 folding tables

  • Maximum capacity 75-100 (depending on use and set-up)

  • Includes access to up to 50 parking spaces for events 5:00 pm onward

  • Four hour minimum/Eight hour maximum

RENTAL SERVICES AVAILABLE

 

  • Piano - $225 (Includes professional tuning)

  • Modular Stage - $175  (4’ x 8’ -    )

  • A/V Service for Wedding or Mitzvah Celebration - $250

  • A/V Service for Corporate Meeting or Other Celebration/Memorial Event - $100

  • Outside Wedding Ceremony Chair Set-Up - $1 per chair

  • Up-lighting Package of up to 18 lighting units - $250
