Jesse Maack

Jesse (they/them) joined Nordic Northwest as the Event & Tech Assistant in 2022. They pride themselves in helping to research and host amazing events for our community! Originally from Portland, Jesse left in August 2017 to attend a 9-month photography program at Lofoten Folk High School in Northern Norway. After Jesse returned to Portland, they studied at Lewis & Clark College where they majored in Studio Art. Off the clock, Jesse collaborates with plants and fungi to create artwork that reflects on how people can help ecosystems thrive for a resilient future.
