Join us for a hands-on Tree Circular Weaving Workshop, where you’ll create a unique woven piece inspired by Nordic forests. In this class, you’ll learn basic circular weaving techniques to craft a miniature tree design using fibers. Perfect for beginners and experienced weavers alike, this workshop offers a relaxing space to explore the soothing art of fiber weaving.

By the end of the workshop, you’ll walk away with a one-of-a-kind woven tree wall hanging and a new appreciation for the role of fiber arts in Nordic culture. All materials are included, and you’ll leave with knowledge to continue weaving at home and incorporate other elements into your pieces. Embrace the rich history of Nordic fiber arts while creating a keepsake that brings the beauty of the forest into your home.

Meet your instructor

Rachael Grow has been a formal instructor since 2019, but she has been sharing her “how to” tips with friends and family members for years. Her passion for fiber arts started when she was 6 years old, that’s when her mother taught her to crochet. From there it was love at first stitch and Rachael pursued learning as many different fiber arts as possible. She has a passion for art yarns and loves to create projects with handmade yarns, especially small weavings. When Rachael isn’t frolicking with fiber she is playing with her family in Portland, Oregon.
