About
Paper mushrooms are always in season! Explore the world of Nordic inspired paper arts and learn how to create fairytale mushrooms out of crepe paper!
Nordic culture has a long tradition of paper arts, and a love of mushrooms! In art, design, cuisine, and fairytales, mushrooms are featured prominently. Crepe paper is renowned for being able to replicate the characteristics of nature, and is used in the arts to sculpt life-like flowers and plants.
In this workshop students will use their imagination and some tried and true techniques to create a fairytale mushroom using artist-grade crepe paper in colors of their choosing, with the option to mount them on wood bases.
All materials will be provided, along with step by step instruction. Students will leave with at least one completed paper mushroom.
