About

Why do we collect things? Why are cultural objects important? How do museums decide what objects to accept into their collections? Join us for this special moderated panel discussion with four museum curators who will talk about all things art, antique, and object collecting. We will explore the relationship between private collectors and museums, how museums use and care for their collections, and why it is important to collect and preserve cultural and historical objects. The program ends will conclude with an open Q&A session.
