Jul & Java: Nordic Holidays Dessert & Coffee Tasting With Vík Roasters

Celebrate the holiday season with a delicious journey through the Nordic countries! Sample a selection of traditional holiday desserts featuring something sweet from each of the five Nordic countries: Denmark, Finland, Iceland, Norway, and Sweden. Discover the unique flavors, ingredients, and traditions that make each country’s holiday table special.

No Nordic dessert table would be complete without coffee. Enjoy coffee provided by VíK Roasters, a small-batch roaster based in Forest Grove, Oregon. Founded by Gunnar and Kathy, VíK is passionate about curating high-quality, single-origin coffees and carefully roasting each batch to bring out its best flavors. The name VíK—pronounced “veek”—is a nod to Reykjavík, where Gunnar hails from, making them a particularly fitting partner for this Nordic celebration.
