We're celebrating Ole Bolle's second birthday on August 10th with a number of fun things to do!
It's been nearly two years since Danish recycle artist Thomas Dambo created Ole Bolle, a large troll sculpture made almost completely out of recycled materials who now resides in the woods on Nordic Northwest Campus.
Come to this free family-friendly event and learn how to turn “trash" into treasured art through a variety of activities and workshops that will include birdhouse decorating and DIY a troll t-shirt; just bring your own t-shirt .
This event is the perfect time to visit our Troll Ole Bolle , whether it is the first or the fifth time! We are taking inspiration from artist Thomas Dambo, the recycle artist and activist who created Ole Bolle. Recycling and reusing items is one of the best ways to keep our planet clean.
At 4 pm, we'll be making announcements, sing happy birthday, eat cake, and more! Before or after you can craft with Trash to Treasure!
Thank you to ScanDesign Foundation for supporting Ole Bolle's Birthday!
