Make your own cards inspired by Nordic designs!
Join us for a fun and creative workshop where we'll craft beautiful, Nordic design-inspired greeting cards! Whether you're an experienced crafter or new to the world of design, this class offers something for everyone. Drawing inspiration from traditional Nordic patterns and folk art, you'll learn how to incorporate iconic motifs and intricate geometric designs into your greeting cards.
About the Instructor
Annelie Thurin was born and raised in Dalarna, Sweden, from where she draws inspiration for her artwork. In addition to hand-cutting paper pictures and participating in various art shows locally and in Sweden, Annelie is currently teaching STEM to 5th graders at STARBASE. Her education includes an MFA in Costume Design, BFA in Theatre Design and a BA in Education. She has taught at Linfield College, high school and middle school in Sweden, and designed apparel at Jantzen, Inc. and Hanna Andersson. To see her work, check out her Instagram @anneliethurin
