About Your Instructor
Jared Sessions is the founder of Red Bear Crossing, where he teaches practical wilderness skills focused on building confidence, awareness, and connection to the outdoors. He is a Wilderness First Responder with a background in backpacking, field skills, and outdoor education. His teaching style emphasizes simple, real-world techniques that help people feel more capable and comfortable spending time outside.
