Presented in partnership with the Portland Finnish School, this workshop is designed for parents and caregivers looking for a clear roadmap. Inna King, the president of Portland Finnish school grew up bilingual in Finland and is currently a minority language parent here in the greater Portland area of 2 bilingual children (who speak the minority language on native fluency). Many of the practical ways come from Inna's own experience, which have been tested in real life. She has also been part of multicultural communities and participated in several workshops in the topic which has given additional ideas to supportive tools for families wanting to start or who are on the language journey.
