About
Step into the world of backyard competition, camaraderie, and high-stakes lawn games with a special screening of Kings of Kubb, a documentary that follows elite players as they chase glory at the U.S. National Kubb Championship. The film reveals how a seemingly simple game can become something much deeper.
Arrive early and get in on the action yourself! Guests are invited to play Kubb, the classic Scandinavian lawn game often described as a mix of bowling, horseshoes, and strategy, where players knock down wooden blocks before toppling the “king” to win. Whether you’re a seasoned player or trying it for the first time, it’s the perfect way to connect, compete, and set the stage for the film.
After some friendly competition, settle in for the screening and experience the passion, drama, and heart behind one of the world’s most beloved (and underrated) games.
