Nordic Knitting Circle
First Monday of every month at 7pm, and third Tuesday of every month at 12:30pm.

FREE and open to the public! Donations appreciated.
Beginner and expert knitters, fiber artists, and any folks interested in crafts are all welcome to join the Nordic Knitting Circle. The group has a particular focus on Nordic knitting techniques, designs, and history but share weaving, spinning, novel design, color work, and other techniques as well. If you are interested in contemporary Nordic knitwear design, this is the perfect group for you. Bring your own project, join ongoing projects including color work projects, and get help and support from others. Drop-ins are welcome. The Circle also contributes to Nordic Northwest programs and events throughout the year with special drop-ins and other offerings. All levels are represented and welcomed. Registration not required but appreciated!

Stop by Nordia House every Monday evening for Norske Runddansere’s weekly Scandinavian dance lesson. Beginners welcome; no partner needed; $10 drop-in fee ($6/students) with first lesson free. This is a drop-in event, no registration needed!

Danish Conversation Group
Second Monday of every month at 7pm, and fourth Monday of every month at 12:30pm

Join us with the Northwest Danish Association to use your Danish language skills. Whether you are fluent or just beginning this is your chance to meet others and hear the language! Free and open to the public, donations appreciated. Registration not required but appreciated!
Finnish Conversation Group
Third Monday of every month at 7pm

Join us for a Finnish Conversation Group organized by Nordic Northwest and Finlandia Foundation's Columbia-Pacific Chapter. Whether you are fluent or just beginning this is your chance to meet and talk with others, hear the language and learn about Finnish culture, traditions, nature and modern life. Icelandic Conversation Group
Second Wednesday of every other month at 6:30pm

Come practice your Icelandic! All welcome from beginners to experts. This group meets every other 2nd Wednesday of the month. Join us to use your Icelandic language skills. Whether you are fluent or just beginning this is your chance to meet others and hear the language! Before attending a session please email Nord Njordur F. Norwegian Conversation Group
Fourth Monday of every month at 7pm

Come practice your norsk - all levels and ages welcome! Participants range from absolute beginners to native speakers, with most people in between. If you don’t feel comfortable speaking, it is OK to simply listen. The goal is to have fun engaging with norsk - whatever your level, whatever your goals. Free and open to the public, donations appreciated. Registration not required but appreciated!
