Grethe A. Larson

Grethe’s great-grandparents immigrated from the Trondelag area of Norway in the 1800’s. Grethe grew up in the Portland area and graduated from St. Olaf College in Minnesota, a school with deep Norwegian ties. She received a law degree from the University of Oregon, School of Law and worked in-house at Tektronix, Mentor Graphics Corporation and Hewlett-Packard Company. In June of 2016, Grethe joined the Nordic Northwest Board of Directors and she currently chairs the Governance Committee and is board Secretary. Grethe and her husband, Jim Mullins, who has Swedish ancestry, raised two boys and are family-oriented. They are active at Lake Grove Presbyterian Church where Grethe is a Stephen Minister. Recently Grethe stepped down as Co-President of the Arnold Creek Neighborhood Association. She is involved with alumni groups for St. Olaf College and Oregon Law School. She enjoys people, the outdoors, music and plays.
