Sonja Haugen

Sonja has been retired for since 2011. Prior to that she worked for 24 years as the General Manager of Austin Industries & Springbrook Properties and 22 years as Partner of KPMG. Her career has always had a financial focus and, for some projects, an added construction project management element. The financial focus has been primary in Sonja’s volunteer efforts with Nordic Northwest and other organizations over the years. Folks from the Nordic countries have made and continue to make significant contributions to our culture of which she is very proud. It’s important to keep the legacy alive and vibrant. Sonja spends time with her family, especially her two grandchildren, she performs with a 2 piano, 8 hand chamber music group ‘Too Grand!,’ and she enjoys traveling and gardening.
