Drop-in to this workshop and make a dazzling fairytale mushroom out of paper!
Nordic culture has a long tradition of paper arts, and a love of mushrooms! In art, design, cuisine, and fairytales, mushrooms are featured prominently.
In this workshop students will learn how to create a fairytale mushroom using colorful construction paper. Students will get to choose their own colors, get creative with decoration, and even turn their mushroom into a secret compartment for keepsakes or to give as a gift.
All materials will be provided, along with step by step instruction. Students will leave with at least one completed paper mushroom, with option to make more if time allows.
This is a multi-generational activity! An adult guardian is required for children under the age of 18. Adult guardians do not have to purchase a ticket if they only plan to assist their children in the craft. Adults who plan to make their own craft are required to purchase a ticket.
