The month of December is always a flurry of activities for our Lucia Court. Besides their regular appearances they also reached out to young (decorating Department of Human Services Foster Care offices for the season & wrapping presents from Toy Drives) and old (visiting The Springs of Tanasbourne, an assisted living facility to spread some winter joy and warmth, chatting with residents and handing out 120 Lussekatter).
It’s really inspiring to see how the Lucia Court brings warmth to both children and seniors during such a busy season—it must create lasting memories for everyone involved. As someone new to this, I’d love to learn more about how these traditions are organized and sustained each year. It kind of reminds me of the determination in FNF game, where showing up consistently and giving your all makes a meaningful difference.
This kinda stuff is what the holidays should be about. Giving back, spreading cheer. A lotta folks forget that, but not these guys. By the way, I used a percentage decrease calculator recently and it saved me a lot of time.
