Make your own Fastelavnsris

Steps:

1. Gather some sticks and arrange them in a vase.

2. Print our printable below, cut and attach to sticks with glue, tape or string.

3. Have anything else to add? Commonly you would also use feathers!

Make your own banner or add to your Fastelavnsris

Steps:

1. Print our printable below

2. Color!

3. Cut and attach with glue/tape to string.

Now you know how to spell Fastelavn, can you say it?!

How did this project work out for you? Let us know by sharing your photos with us and tagging @nordicnorthwest!

love that you included printable templates for both the ris and the banner. Since you're inviting families to share photos of their finished projects, worth mentioning: if kids are in those shared photos, it's a good habit to blur their faces before posting publicly on social media. Blur face in photo makes that quick for parents to do first.

Love these simple steps for making Fastelavnsris! Capturing the process and sharing it could be fun, maybe even Turn Photo into Video with AI to show off the finished decor.

I found this article while researching the General Employment Policy Hong Kong. It provides a clear overview of the eligibility requirements, application process, and key considerations for professionals seeking to work in Hong Kong.

What a fun and creative DIY activity! The step-by-step instructions make it easy for families to join in and create their own Fastelavnsris. I love using create clips from YouTube videos to share craft inspiration like this with friends and encourage more people to try these traditions.
